poopgoblin
Just a thread to honor and thank those who have made sacrifices from around the world for our freedoms. “War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling, which thinks that nothing is worth war, is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." To all those who have served, and continue to serve, thank you, your sacrifices aren't lost on this high schooler.
Jonlissla
"A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will all say, we did this ourselves" - Lao Tse (circa 600 BC) I'm sad. And why am I sad? Because people die to make this world a better place, and we never get to know their names. :(

Seriously, just learning the names, not even what they did, would take years and years, and forget trying to keep it all straight...

Well, I was a little philosophical, that's all! :)
