Aterr
Oh, I do have a machine that can easily run Fallout 4 at the highest possible graphics settings, it's just not this Asus Core i5 with 16GB of RAM, which is why I asked how he was able to get his Core i3 to even start the game... I have it installed, but it absolutely will not start.. CTD every time. My gaming system has a http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4567#ov Motherboard and a http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=9685728 Graphics card... Intel® Core™ i7-4790 Processor - 8MB Smart Cache, 3.6GHz, 22nm and 16GB of ADATA XPG DDR3 1600 RAM (have another 16 on the way) I use the built in audio as I am old and great sound is wasted on me, but the graphics in Fallout 4 are AWESOME!!! I'm pretty new to the i series computers and the last thing I want to do is trash it. That machine is a new build and was intended to go into an existing micro ATX case, but the Graphics card was 3/8'" too tall to fit. That is the reason I purchased the mATX mainboard in the first place... it had the most features I could find in mATX. Had I known what I know now, I would have went with a much nicer mainboard. True. Unfortunately, Fallout 4 seems to depends on that RAM speed.
Alano69
Hi, Please try to lower your settings, and remove at least shadows. Here is a video that explains how to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJoqdMlF4H0 If this isn't helping, install nexus mods manager https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-sC46Uv9psthen install mods that improve texture size so that your graphic card will be able to get it's head out of the water : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2X2UvpcY82A I suggest that you install the mod "remove interior fog" by Abbolovesyou.
