Best class for orc

I hope you beat him up. :innocent: :P

Strength, most definately. And maybe Endurance? Those seem to be the most Orc-like stats. And the Warrior for star sign.

That's just IMO though, but when I think of Orcs, I tend to think of brute force :D

If you dont wanna cast a lot of spells you should take as star sign either wombburn (the magic absorb serves very well) or the lady (50 stat points).

Custom class would be prolly the best way like that:

Specialization: Combat

Major Attributes:

Strength

Endurance

Major Skills:

You favourite weapon class (Long Sword, Axe, Blunt Weapon or Spear)

Armorer

Heavy Armor

Block

Athletics (otherwise you run too slow imho as an orc)

Minor Skills:

Usefull minor skills are..

Sneak

Security

Acrobatics

Speechcraft

Mercantile

This is a varient to be a complete warrior without higher magic abilities.

You may think I'm mad, but I have a theory. I think that, perhaps, a mage-like class would be excellent for the orc. Primary skills in where the Orc is weak will help ensure their maximisation, and areas where the Orc is naturally strong will be maximised easily with some simply skills; like Acrobatics.

Of course, if you want to roleplay an Orc, there's nothing more fun than some sort of Barbarian. However, the way Orcs are designed in the ES series leaves them more as trained fighters in heavy armour [Orcish used to be better than ebony, just worse than Daedric] than your "GRAAAK DESTROOOY! ALL SHALL FEEL THE BURRRRNING MIGHT OF THE LEGION OF UG!" barbarian.

Well, let's be honest here. If you wanted to do an Orc as a mage, you're going to start out with disadvantages in every major stat and skill. All of the things that the Orc is good at will be minimized. If you want to make a good mage, at least one of your major stats will be Intelligence. That means that either Strength or Endurance are gone, and both of those go a long way towards making a good Orc.

You see, the Orc is basically a meat-and-potatoes character. It's a straightforward archetype. The Orc is your second-line guy. You get the Khajit and Imperials on the front line. They go in for a first strike and get out as fast as they can. The Orcs are there to back them up. They're the tanks, the hardcore warriors. Then, you've got the Bretons and High Elves who blow things up with their magics.

So, basically, I don't agree with your theory. You're going to have to prove it.
