adomiel
I've noticed there is a file for pipboy screen glow, but editing it doesn't seem to do anything! I have noticed that the common issue of pipboy backgrounds seems that when you replace the diffuse color it is easily affected by the light. If instead the texture was derived from a working glow/ambience map the backgrounds would always be seen at the correct brightness. Just an Idea but I can't seem to figure out what the pipboyscreen_g.dds even does.
Deleted2948850User
The glow maps are just for the selection of glowing parts, black = no glow, any other colour = glow. The actual emittance colour, brightness, etc. is governed by the model and/or material.
mm137
I think the glow map is only used in third person when you have the pip light on.
