Custom Power Armor spawns

In the vanilla game, Power Armor spawns when you first enter the area the Power Armor spawns in. Furthermore, the generation of the Power Armor (T-45, T-51, T-60, X-01) is tied to your level when you first enter the area, which means that someone, who is just roaming around, exploring the commonwealth, will spawn a lot of T-45 Armor, while someone who doesn't explorer at all, but just fasttravels and levels as fast as possible, will spawn a lot of X-01 Armor.

 

I personally think that this goes against the premise of the game and the open world, to be able to explore at your own pace.

 

Therefore, I'd like to have a mod, that allows me to customize the generation of the spawning Power Armor. Whether or not the modder wants to set his own setting as default or not is up to him, but I'd like to suggest, that the generation of the Power Armor should be tied to how far it is away from Vault 111, how easy it is to find the Power Armor, how well guarded the Power Armor is and if the Armor spawns along main quest-lines.

 

Additionally, I'd like to have an option to craft Power Armor-Armor (not the Frame), which should be tied to perks in a way, so that it is neither too easy to craft the Armor yourself, nor too hard, so you are not able to craft it until you are almost finished with the game.

 

If the modder wants the player to decide the spawns, he could add an MCM menu (if that is released yet for FO4), hidden behind a spoiler warning.

A power armor in a pre-war facility would be T-51, sometimes, if its older T-45. T-60 would be from the war itself. X-01 was invented after the war and shouldn't be placed in pre-war installations.

Thanks for the crafting mod link. And I agree, the spawns should also make sense within the lore.

 

What I want to incentivize with the craftable armor, is that it should be reasonably hard to craft it. Many mods just give you the ability to do everything right from the beginning, while I want to have requirements I must meet, before I am able to craft the armor.

Gosh, I really hate the current system. Since the point I read about the generation of the armor being tied to your own level, I reload everytime I find one, use the console to boost my level and look for the armor again, to see if the generation has changed or not. If it has changed, I reload again and avoid the place. It really kills my enjoyment of the game, but at the same time, I don't want dozen of T-45 armor and no other generation.
