Hello! Thank you for clicking! I recently bought a brand new computer and a large monitor. I did my research in order to ensure that the computer I ordered could handle the s*** I planned on stuffing it with (Skyrim mods...just Skyrim mods...that's all I flipping want GOSHDANGIT!) After procrastinating for 3 months I finally got around to hooking my computer up to the internet and purchasing Skyrim for the PC. I've been playing Skyrim on the Xbox360 for about three years now and lets be honest its dull, boring and just simply dreary. After five straight hours of gameplay I was usually ready to smash my head into the wall. So I opted to waste my time and money in hopes of creating a beautiful, lush and immersive Skyrim. I literally just spent the previous three days searching, downloading and equipping mods to my game from dawn till dusk. My problem? My game is nowhere even close to looking as amazing as Broduel's or MxR's. Granted I understand my game cant look exactly like theirs seeing as they most likely have better computers. But my Skyrim should be able to at least look a quarter maybe even half as good as theirs. But it doesn't instead it lags (everything kinda "flashes" when I run) its still dull and colorless even with some mods active. My game crashes when I add a majority of my mods (yes I have made sure that the mods needed to support those mods have also been added) and I have not exceed the mod limit of 253. Basically everything that would make you want to throw your f***ing computer out the damn window is happening. So if you have the time to respond and think that you could be of ANY help it would be greatly appreciated. Especially if you could help me before I go mental.

I currently have 103 plugins and only 35 "active" and a total of 109 mods. I use Nexus mod organizer as I could not locate the "better" organizer (forgot the name). I use a Cyber power PC. I don't have all of the details right now but if necessary I can locate any information you may needed to determine why my modded Skyrim is not working. Also I attempted to download ENB but I found the site itself to be rather confusing and therefore I am unsure If I downloaded the right "stuff" or if any of it was downloaded at all.

I apologize for any spelling errors, my swearing and anything that may have irritated you. Thank you for reading I just really want to play Skyrim.

...that's just the visual mods that do a lot i have over 150 mods

you want it to look even better then you wanna use a end i suggest realavision or true vision they are great (my computer isnt good enough need to upgrade cpu to use) link below to install them even with the weird enb site.

for the weirdness you have going on i suggest at that point you wanna either unload all of them and enable one at a time or uninstall all of them and start over(had to do that myself)

realavision end

Hey Leily, I know the feeling, it can be really frustrating when you have no idea what the problem is. Yep, if you share your PC specs and a list of installed mods we'll be more able to help. "Mod Organizer" is the other mod manager you may have meant btw.

When Skyrim crashes, does it crash to desktop before the game even starts? And you mentioned flashing - is your driver up to date?

Skimming through the Beginner's Guide on Reddit will help explain some things, it has info on Mod Organizer, LOOT, SKSE and there's a little on ENBseries. There's a lot to read but it's good for explaining why certain things are needed and how to install them.

Shoot me a PM if you're still having trouble and I'll help as best I can.

Thank you all for the help very appriciated! I had my brother take my computer to one of his friends. He said that because most of my mods where visual enhancers that I probably need to buy a 2gb graphics card since I only have a 1. But that my computers processing power is great.

Fusozayy: I will upload pc spec info and list of mods ASAP and yes mod organizer was the other mod manger I was refering to !

bcofer: I will definatly have to take a look at STEP thank you for the advice!

natrat16: I actually have alot of the same mods downloaded. Thank you for the suggestions , video and links! And whats an i5 cpu?

You don't need a 2GB card unless you want HD textures and are willing to stick to 1k and lower textures. Be sure to optimize your textures to 1K and lower by using Optimizer Textures on Nexus.
