TheOriginalEvilD
I remember using mods in the past to get rid of it, but now I kinda miss it. In FO4 if you can point the cross hairs on a target, chances are really high that you're going to hit it no matter what the distance is, up to the point that your weapon doesn't have the range for it. I sort of miss having to aim way up above targets and calculating head shots. This game is very point-and-click when it comes to sniping.

Moraelin
You know they don't drop that much, though, right? For example for a .308 drops about 3 and a half inches, or about 9cm at 200 yard distance. That's almost the size of a pipboy map square, btw. EDIT: Let's do some elementary maths. Assuming you play with a 90 degree FOV (default is 70, IIRC, but 90 makes calculations easier and many of us play that way), that's a deviation angle whose tangent is 3.5/7200. Your drop will be about 2 pixels if you play in 4k, or about 1 pixel drop if you play in just HD. When shooting at a whole 200 yards distance. Yeah, you're not going to aim that far above the enemy, sorry.

FO3 may not have had a realistic bullet drop, but at least it made the game challenging.
Moraelin
FO3 had magical bullets that deviated towards the center of the torso. It did NOT have bullet drop. You might say it's kinda like bullet drop if you aim for the head, but equally it would curve up if you aimed at the legs, or sideways if you shot at the arms. Hardly the same thing. At any rate, I'm actually looking in the .esm right now. 10mmBulletAutoProjectile: gravity 0.00 10mmBulletProjectile: gravity 0.00 10mmBulletSilencedProjectile: gravity 0.00 32CalPistolBulletProjectile: gravity 0.00 32CalRifleBulletProjectile: gravity 0.00 44MagnumBulletProjectile: gravity 0.00 etc Hell even the dart sling kinda gun has 0.00 gravity for the projectile Only stuff like the fatman nuke or grenades had any drop. So, yeah, I don't know exactly what you're missing, but it wouldn't be the first time that nostalgia means pining for something that never existed in the first place
Warmaker01
Yeah, Bullet Drop never existed in FO games. In FO3 onwards, it was more of range increasing dispersal from the point of aim. As Moraelin pointed out, only Fat Man had any sort of drop to account for.
