Nazyaweh
I have the Unique Player mod installed so new Bodyslide builds won't be installed into the correct folder, does anyone know where the files are put so I can at least put them in the correct folder manually? tomomi1922
I think you mix something up. When you deal with Body 3d model (aka body mesh), which Bodyslide deals with, you are talking about .nif, not .ddsBut here are your locations: Where Vanilla, and Bodyslide export the nude body with CBBE Body outfit: (You can observe the location on the pop up message right after you click Build)Fallout 4\Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets Where you should copy your nude mesh to for Unique Player:Fallout 4\Data\meshes\actors\character\PlayerCharacterAssets___________________For texture:CBBE/Vanilla Default:Fallout 4\Data\Textures\Actors\character\BaseHumanFemaleUnique Player:Data\Textures\Actors\character\PlayerHumanFemaleData\Textures\Actors\character\PlayerHumanMale (if you care, for the male).___________________While at this, I highly advise NOT to NMM install CBBE, Unique Player, and Unique Followers. Manually install them. Reason: If you accidentally (or intentionally) uninstall these mods, all your customized works will be deleted. NMM will NOT realize these .nif and .dds are your custom works and will delete them. Once you reinstall the mods via NMM, NMM will populate you with Default .nif and .dds (and here goes customizing again). Manually, at least you know what you are deleting. tomomi1922
While at this, I want to show you how I make life easy. It gets old very fast when I have to .... each and every time .... copy FemaleBody.nif from the CharacterAssets folder to the PlayerCharacterAssets, mistakes often happen too. Get Unique Player Bod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6944/?It does 2 things:1. It populates your Player folders with proper CBBE mesh and texture (so you don't see Vanilla body with ugly white undies). 2. It offers a Bodyslide preset that reads "Unique Player CCBE" as an outfit. This works EXACTLY as how you would build CBBE Body, but it will automatically put FemaleBody.nif to the correct folder. (You still HAVE to manually copy custom .dds file to your Player texture folder).____________________________________I can show you how to create custom Body/Outfit for Nude outfit for each and every companion (Cait, Piper, Curie) if you download Unique Followers. They don't make it available, but it is rather easy to do. And it will too make your life so much easier if you are something like me: keep building body for my main character and 3 companions and adjust until I like it. Due to triangle weight setting, the body in CBBE do not 100% look the same in game. But with my setup, all I need to do is open a Bodyslide for each body I am working on (say Bodyslide open for my character, and another instance of Bodyslide for Cait, Piper), and I keep clicking Build and reload the game to see new adjustments. This goes without saying you should save your custom CBBE setting as your own preset (unless you can memorize all settings you made). For me, even for 1 body shape, I have about 3-4 presets:1. Nude body (exactly how it should look naked).2. Bikini body (when your character wears something that looks like bikini (breast is altered)3. Cleavage body (for any outfit that has a chance to give push-up and push-in effect to create a nice cleavage).4. Full body outfit (for about 80% of the outfit out there just because breasts don't look the same when you wear heavy clothing/armor).
