ZoakoTHEgreat
UPDATE: I tried again uninstalling all my mods and reinstalling them more slowly and this has worked to restore the Sink. Oddly I have reinstalled just about everything including the awesome sink and the problem has not recurred. I am bewildered that I have gotten no clue whatsoever as to what tripped this up in the first place. I would really like to know but I might never know what caused this. (My closest guess though is some oddity involving merged patches) Maybe I can even get one louse reply (that isnt someone telling me to shut up because I'm spaming) that might shed some light on this mystery. I am stubborn, obsessive, and this has gone beyond merely wanting to get my game working fully. (I could play through OWB without the Sink and its store as co Problem (As stated in the three previous posts): Auto crash on entering the Sink with "Missing Master Check Mod Load Order" popup. No mods that edit the main appearance of the Sink other than the Awesomized Sink Wtih or without the Sink mod the game crashes with the same exact message EVEN ON BRAND NEW CHARACTER SAVESI Have New Vegas Interiors. Game crashes with the same message with or without that mod also on brand new saves Old saves that worked fine with the Awesome Sink also crash. LOOT, FOMM and FNVEdit detect NO MISSING MASTERS and no texture or model conflicts for the SinkThe only dirty plugin that isnt DLC is Vurt's Wasteland Flora Overhaul, and none of those can be cleaned. DoctorKaizeld
okay so you keep posting this thread (sorta more of a revision of the same issue) over and over again and havent received any help. so as someone who understands that issue i am going to help, but first im going to need to ask if at this point you would be okay with restarting as that is the quickest (kind of) way of doing this. all you have to do is uninstall all of your mods and the game then delete the Steam folder for NV. another choice would be after uninstalling the SINK mod would be to run this: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49396/? also maybe providing your load order would be helpful as i dont want to go find your old posts. ZoakoTHEgreat
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I explicitly followed the instructions for the Save Cleaner and I could not get the file to come up to be saved. At the step of entering the command the game minimizes bringing up the references in notepad and supposedly saving them as a .fos in the save directoryTurning on the the application and clinking to select the save there is a mysave.fos in the same save folder as indicated by the notepad save but it is not marked as a text file with the lined paper icon but rather only the normal blank white of a game save. Note pad says the text version of the .fos is in the New Vegas saves, trying to load it in the reference wiper, shows it not there. Trying the .fos with the same name but without the text icon lists 0 references cleaned press any button to close/
DoctorKaizeld
What exactly do you mean by the Steam folder?Steam folder = C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas sorry should have specified that. TheSinkRemodel.espwhich mod is this? to be honest i wish i had some better solutions. the only reason i didnt answer before was primarily because i never used any mods that altered the SINK in any way. either way im gonna keep trying. ZoakoTHEgreat
I turned off all my mods and the sink actually loaded normally.I slowly reinstated mods and every step of the way the crashes restarted weather I was modding the Sink or not(The Mod for the sink is Elianora's Awesomised Sink http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/56162/?and it crashed the game saying missing master even when it was the only active mod) This underscores why I'm so obsessed with this: I don't see how it is possible for a group of files to crash a locationthat none of them has absolutely anything whatsoever to do with but leave all other locations in the game unglitched. Did you just mean to say that I should reinstall new vegas together when you said to delete the New Vegas common folder because that is deleting the whole game right? Unno
You only need one of these: - CFW-PN-DLC.esp (use if you have Dead Money, which you do) - CFW-PN.esp (use if you do not have Dead Money) Move 'CFW-DLC.esp' above 'CFW-PN-DLC.esp'. I doubt this will fix the issue at hand, but it's a step in the right direction.

ZoakoTHEgreat
Unfortunately, though my hopes weren't high, removing the redundant plugin did not make any change. I thought that perhaps the problem was caused by the new version of the Awesomised Sink so I tried the old file for it. Not only did it not work, but it produced a crash unique from any of the others with a large popup from windows (some crashes naturally had the Fallout has stopped working prompt, but this was the first message relating to the nature of the crash, that was generated by windows rather than by the game. It said something along the lines of a problem with C++ visuals and windows terminating an unusual operation. I then made an attempt without the Awesomised Sink . It went to blackscreen after activating the cell door, but unusually it did not/would not crash at all, I had to terminate with task manager. ZoakoTHEgreat
I decided to check in on the Sink the best way I could so I downloaded the GECK for the first time and attached is the image of what I found there. Almost all of the objects and world space of the sink are somehow deleted from the functional space (even though their editor ids appear properly in the cell view data window); and all of this in the sink world space loaded from the Old World Blues master file. As for the Awesome sink mod examining it in the GECK reveals the same exact blown out model with all the items and world space that it ought to have missing from the display window but listed in the cell data window just as with the base game. To bring up a detail from earlier a weird thing about all these attempts to enter the sink is that the sink appears rendered normally on the image on the autosave even though the sink never properly appeared on screen in 99.99999....% of those attempts. I still have held off on the totally reinstalling New Vegas (which would require me to reinstall NMM, FOMM, FNVEdit, LOOT, GECK, OJO BUENO Textures, 4GBFNV, etc) because of the sheer oddity of the fact that the Sink will load properly if I turn off all major non-texture mods, yet somehow my whole band of mods continues to crash it even without a single one among the large and script heavy mods that edit the files for the sink (Other than leveled lists for vendors/crafting/autodoc which could be fingered out as a possible culprit; if they did anything like this elsewhere in the game which they do not).
