Project Burning Souls

I am about to begin work on my own total conversion called Project Burning Souls.

 

Here is a little bit about the storyline:

 

 

It happened in the blink of an eye. The fire came raining down from the skies, burning into the world. The world was alight with fire, and the smoke clouded the morning skies. Then, the monsters came. Beasts straight from The Fires Below, ripping the people apart, their bloodlust never abating. The destroyed everything in sight, and the world became dark.

 

You awake in this new world, no memory of a past life. You are quite possibly the last man alive in the world. Can you survive, and more importantly, can you free the Burning Souls of this world from their fiery cages in The Fires Below?

 

 

So now you've got some info on the storyline, let me tell you a little bit about what it'll include.

 

There won't be any NPC's at all, so VA needs to be done.

The races will be Northern Human (Imperial) and Southern Human (Redguard).

There won't be any new meshes and textures, just using the ones already in Oblivion.

I plan for there to be a quest, but much later on.

There'll be a new system of loot based on chance, not level.

New world to explore (a later release): Ravaged World (Earth after the destruction.)

 

I plan the first release to be the starting town, and the next release will have the new world in it. Every few weeks, I'll have an update that will, say, unlock a new dungeon or new town (full of dead people). After all the places are finished, I'll start the quest.

Sounds good. My "ghost town world" prediction was partly correct then. How big do you expect the world to be?

 

Not very big. Maybe a quarter of the size of Cyrodill, but the cities, dungeons, and quest related places will hopefully make up for some of that.

Please, please, pleeaasse put unique weapons at the end of some of the dungeons.

I don't mean new models or stuff like that, I just mean Weapons that make the dungeon crawl more rewarding.

Why not, if you want I can try and make a small fleet of ships that you can control for you, only problem is that npc's wont be able to use them, I can try to find out how if you wish. Plus I got several other ideas, its probably best if you pm from now on though to not give out any ideas.
