DOOMBASED
New beta update just came out. I'm pretty sure the Invalidate Archives ini edit is causing CTD in at least Sanctuary. I tried deleting my ini after getting CTD and the game loads in Sanctuary, but if I enable the Invalidate Archives ini edit, CTD when trying to load into Sanctuary. Need others to try this out for confirmation. If this is the case I suppose I will have to opt out of beta for now or play without certain mods until this is figured out. Ephemera91
It's called beta for a reason. :) Edited January 15, 2016 by Ephemera91
FlyDungas
It might be related to a mod, because I'm not having any issues. Actually super impressed with the patch, new GFX options looks great and it fixes my fps drops in urban areas
dangwoot
i can confirm without the ini settings game loads but when i put them back to enable my mods it ctd, i don't know which mod could be causing it either. Tried disabling all plugins and loading but got the same ctd ( just had the fallout4.esm enabled )GAHHHH!!! lol.
boogiePls
Same here, tried disabling all mods and still wouldn't load, not even starting a new vanilla game works. If I delete the ini files without mods then my saves works, so it must be something with enabling mods or some particular mods that don't work with the new beta patch. dangwoot
yup even with all my mods enabled but those lines missing from the ini's ( to enable mods ) my saves will load... wtf did bethesda do?
dangwoot
went back before the patch and now all is well... so it seems like they are screwing with the modding community again.

zackperk
 dang my mods...My friend, I had the same problem. I just went to my plugins.txt and changed it to read-only, problem solved. I am overjoyedI thought I lost hours of modded settlement building, but alas, all was made well.
bladexdsl
beth are just a pathetic now trying to block mods so everyone is forced to use their shitty bethesda.net BS site later so they van control all mods! i think it's time we started boycotting all patches from here on. perm lock your steam into offline mode
