Here's A Few Ideas for Mods

First off, I'm not a modder, so if I say something that's not possible, or has already been done, please be cool about it. React in a way that shows the Nexus community is awesome - like it has been so far in my experience - and not like those other sites which are full of prick-breaths and aggro d-bags.

Second, I'm not a modder and not everyone is, but we (not-so-smert) people still like to join your fun. Please don't assume I'm going to understand highly technical jargon or insider abbreviations.

Third, I do donate anonymously (even if just the few bucks I can afford to donate) to mods which are stable, useful, and enjoyable. So, please know you modders have my admiration for your skills, and my support.

Well, after playing this game for a couple weeks, there are a few things I keep thinking, "Damn, I wish [insert]."

I thought I'd share the idea in case:

A) It actually is possible and people could point me in the direction of a mod.

B) It inspires someone to do something coll that I don't have the skills to do.

[Damn, a lot of enumeration in this post]

Having said that, here are some ideas I had.

1) Attach Turrets/Lights to the Underside of Structures.

My settlements (ziggurats, really) are tall with the living quarters far away from the ground-crawling scum like raiders and the Kardashian family. The ability to slap some turrets on the underside of the walkways would be nice.

2) Where My People Go?

I understand that Bethesda took out the "enemy tick marks" for Fo4, but it would be incredibly useful to have them in your settlements for allied people. I hate having to ring the damn bell and wait for the person I am seeking.

3) Obedience Training.

I get so tired of him running off to chomp the very enemy I'm stalking for a silent kill. So much for the element of surprise. He's useful to have around as a pack mule, and sniffing stuff out, but he needs obedience training. It'd be nice to limit the distance from he which he runs/travels.

4) Gopher!

How lovely it would be to have the ability to send a companion back to a settlement, unload everything no equipped into the workshop, and return when done. Yeah, this is probably something really complicated, and not possible. Still... *stares in distance and smiles at thought*

5) Carapace Armour.

I thought it'd be really cool to be able to craft armor from the plates of radscorpions, the wings of stingwing, and the chitin of radroaches. The components could also do some cool things.

Maybe Radroach pieces might make you harder to detect, especially to other mutated invertibrates?

Maybe Radscorpion parts make you more resistant to poison, or add a poisonous "punch" to your melee?

Maybe the Stingwing wings make you take less damage for falling?

Maybe the Mirelurk shell makes you take less rads from drinking and walking through water?

6) Working Spotlights

Spotlights that actually work, Because Bethesda hasn't done jack about this.

7) Nude Settlers

Any time I want to see a nekkid female, I have to remove all my own armor and gear. I'm sure there's a way to do this with the current mods out there, but I don't know what it is. I give my settlers armor, but sometimes I'd just like to see them in nothing at all. Like that b!+[#, Marcy. Since I can't kill her, she could at least be nekkid.

If you know how I can accomplish "sexy settlers," please let me know.

8) Companion Map Marker

This might be another one that is available which I do not know about. I'd like to have my companion show up on the map in case I tell them to stay put and forget where they are. Or how about a script that makes them go back to a settlement after too long of waiting? A "Screw you guys, I'm going him" kind of thing?

Thanks
