Eilyn
I have dug through this forum and googled the issue, but have not come across a solution: I have converted new reload sounds for the Gauss rifle, kept the Hz, bit rate and length the same as the original. Then I converted them to *.xwm files (original are *.wav). But for some reason the sounds do not effectively replace the original ones ingame, there the normal ones still play. Modding in the *.ini files is enabled and I have tried replacing the default sounds as *.wav files. With the latter attempt the sounds refuse to play completely. Any help would be most appreciated! roamwild
I'm not sure why this is necessary (I just blindly went into it when I made a replacer, didn't read much before doing), but I had to make .fuz files for my Quiet Weeding Farming mod. I ran into the same problem you just described when I first started. See Skyrim Audio Converter. Make sure to grab the blank .lip file from Optional Files. Eilyn
*.fuz files dont work either. Is there a specific *.ini line that needs changing to enable sound mods? One I maybe overlooked? And *.wav files still come out silent. Tried shortening and extending them, but nothing worked.
