ReDragon1976
So I have just about finished a new House mod, and I have a couple of extra .esm files checked in the GECK, when I upload the mod, will ppl need to have these .esm's as well? They are a result of the following mods A world of PainMikotos beauty packRR Companion Vault Is there a way to take those esm's off the esp in the GECK? Is there a way to copy the layout completly without having to do it by hand so those extra .esm files are no longer checked in the GECK? Would uninstalling the Mods above solve the problem? Thanks anyone for any help or advice you can give me.
Quetzlsacatanango
Yes, they will need those files to use your mod.Did you use anything from them when you built your house? If not, open your file in fnvedit, right click on it, and choose 'clean masters'. It will remove the unnecessary master files.
Floatsup
Highly recommend you clean your file before releasing.

The falloutnewvegas file or data folder or somewhere else, and then how do I open my .esp in FNVEDIT? Thanks again for previous help and now again for future help simply extract it to a file path of your choosing. After install, launch the program, you get a new window showing all of the mods in your data folder. uncheck everything you don't want to load and hit ok. Floatsup
FNVEdit is a powerful little tool, and what a great tool it is because low and behold theres actually a manual. Your Manual

And if I worked it out correctly, I open FNVEDIT, select my 'home'.esp file, right click and select clean masters, yes? I have done a dry run, and know where everything is, I am just after confirmation that it wont stuff things up for the game that I am playing atm. FNVEdit is a powerful little tool, and what a great tool it is because low and behold theres actually a manual. Your Manual Awesome! I can't believe I missed that, the only problem now is that I have used my monthly allowance of high speed downloads, and am back to slow as speed :( but I have tracked it, and will download it on the 22nd when full speed is mine again. Thanks again for you help, both past and future :D
Quetzlsacatanango
It won't remove anything from your game. It only edits the plugin you choose.
