vanblam
Hello, I'm still very new to Blender 2.49b so maybe this will be an easy fix for some of you experienced modders. Problem I'm having is when I Place my custom made wall in TES construction set the lighting information from the map doesn't seem too effect my wall, when I turn the lighting info off my textures are there. I made sure they were correct in Nifscope as well. So I thought it might not be that way in Oblivion, but of course it was still all black. I imported a Pillar into Blender and pretty much tried to copy every setting as much as possible. Obviously I'm still missing something, but after 4 hours of troubleshooting over and over, getting a little frustrated hahaha. Below is a picture of what I'm talking about. If theirs any other information you need to know from me before you can help ill be happy to give what I can :). Thanks in advance
vanblam
Never mind I fixed my own problem :D.. Turns out you CANNOT have UNDERSCORES in the name of you Nif file or your textures don't render. Soon as I removed the underscores from the name, it worked right away hahaha. Also when you place your new folder in the meshes and texturesfolders to be under your own name before any of the default oblivion names EG: "Oblivion/Data/Meshes/Yourname/optional/optional/ ect." Not " Oblivion/data/Meshes/Dungeons/Yourname" ..( I could be wrong :P, but I know the first part about the underscores is right :D, lol in fact if you were having this same problem that I was to just try the underscore removal first :P ) Edited April 14, 2011 by vanblam
