Bernt
I don't know if this has been up before. But when I install a mod using NMM I get a message saying that my old .ini edit is causing long load times.I should have a specific that goes: "sRessourceDataDirsFinal="Right now it says: "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\, interface\," The latter was what I found in Gophers tutorial. All 3 files are set to "read only". I DO have long loading times. But the game runs nice and smooth. Which one is the right one?
roamwild
Updated VideoI think you watched an outdated one. I thought he linked / annotated a note in the old one to view the updated version.SResourceDataDirsFinal= is what I use.Other users report that using the "old" method with [...]DirsFinal=STRINGS\[...] works fine.http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4421/?This is where I first learned of the updated method.I don't know whether using the Beta patch will change any of this.Edit: I did not have any issues that I know of with the 'old' method except that it seemed slower on initial startup through NMM (before menus and when loading save file for the first time, mods and game installed on an SSD together). Bernt
Thank you Roam  I'll do a backup of the .ini and then edit it to see if there is any difference. I'm not going to try any Beta patch though. I'll rather wait until it is truly tested. I'd rather not install anything that might mess up my game as it is
