LeviDenerius
Alright, so I recently re-installed Oblivion on my Laptop, and I decided to get some mods for it, but whenever I try loading the game, it freezes on the Bethesda Logo/2K Logo screen, and I've tried Running it without mods, re-installing the mods and even re-installing the game, but ended up with the same results, so I figure maybe my mods corrupted the game files. I'll post my (rather messy and possibly vomit-inducing) Load Order here, so maybe someone who's more proficient in this kind of thing can help me. forli
The problem is simple: you installed too many mods at once without testing them. NEVER install all mods together. Install 3-4, test if everything is ok, then install 3-4 more, test again, etc...If something bad happens, the cause is one (or more than one) of the 3-4 last mods you've installed, and you can find it in no time. If you install 100 mods all together, finding the cause is much harder, and you will need much more work to find the cause (which again, could be caused by more than one mod). So... uninstall the whole game, delete the Oblivion folder, install from scratch and retry. Also, test if the vanilla game (without mods) works. Rarely even a vanilla game can crash on some systems. Elbethien
Do not start a new game with all mods active. Only activate very few or even none and activate them carefully later, after your pc is made and you made a save. Many mods add items, spells, quests etc. that is too much at once.
