i would like someone to mod flails into oblivion u know the handle wiv the ball and chain.please will people stop useing r.a.r files as i only hav acssess to the internet at the library and it wont allow me to download winrar thankyou

Yep, well unless you would settle for a rigid ball on a chain, as in the ball nor chain moves, and that might give the effect of a ball on a chain when swinging. But thats the best we can give you.

Actually, in theory, it could be done, as long as you have a way of getting into the animations. You just run the physics simulation in 3dsmax (and yes, calculating chains is incredibly demanding, forget about it in real-time), then save the results as keyframe data. Then you just have your flail swing like any other weapon, the only difference being you're swinging an animated object instead of a static one. Sure, it won't bounce off of things properly, but you could do a pretty good approximation.

This would work, that is if there was a way that blivy would allow weapon models to have animations. I'm pretty sure that it doesn't though.

Yeah, if nothing else, bows are... I could imagine some really awkward workaround where your "flail" is actually a bow with an invisible arrow. I guess if you really desperately wanted a flail, you could kind of have one, but I can't imagine it looking even half-decent without realtime physics simluation of the bounces. And thanks to Bethesda, that isn't going to happen.
