Server slowdown

Hi,

I've noticed problems with the load times on the site recently.

Could you explain why this is happening and what could be done to fix this?

This is happened today, 10.35 AM (Rome hour)

The MySQL Database is currently down. Please retry again in 60 seconds

This is happened today at 10,36 AM (Rome hour)

IPS Driver Error

There appears to be an error with the database.

where here was

Addictionally many times, while I'm already on the site, if I try to refresh the page or to go elsewhere in the site I can't.

It's about 2 days that it happens (maybe 3) but I've obtained the above warnings only today as shown.
