kirkonacid Posted January 20, 2016 Share Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) I've encountered a rather weird problem with texture mods in the game. For some reason, the actual texture files are not being installed into the Fallout 4 data folder by NMM. All other mods that use .esp and .esm files, but do not change textures appear to be working properly (so far anyways). The texture files do show up in the virtual install folder however. These mods are installed on a fresh installation of Fallout 4 and I've used them before without any trouble. I have repeatedly check my .ini files to ensure the settings are correct, and I've tried to use both the new method and the old method that is no longer preferred because it increases loading times. I've come up with a few theories, but I'd like input before I go an reinstall everything again, especially if there is a quick and easy fix I'm oblivious to. And oh my god I'm an idiot, I just enabled NMM to run as an administrator and everything seems to be working. I'll go ahead and post this in case anyone else encounters this problem.
