Jokkocze
As the topic says, the text has dissapeared my "main" menu (Not sure what the one you get ingame when pressing esc is called) and from conversations with npc's. It's completely gone from the menu but it's still clickable in the convos. All the text in the inventory, quest log and so on works just fine. I'm using Phinix's Immersive DarkUI, but the problems didnt appear when I added this, but when I removed the intro-movies from oblivion.ini. (Putting these back doesnt solve anything.) The text sometimes appears when the game is restarted, but dissapears again when the game is restarted another time. I've been playing the game with my existing mods for a day or two without any problems and as I said, they appeared when I poked around in the .ini-file. Does anyone have the slightest idea abou what could cause this?

Since you say this occured after messing with your oblivion.ini, the first step is to delete it, then run the game from OblivionLauncer.exe to re-initialize your hardware. Set any options in the launcher menu and start the game.
Jokkocze
I got a tip somewhere else that fixed my problem. It seems like it was just a coincidence that it happened when I poked around in the file. Changing a 1 to a 0 fixed the problem. Unfortunately, I cant for the life of me remember what setting it was. I'll update this post with it when I find it again. (Might be good for others in the future)
