Tried to search but confused. Net Framework 4.6?

Hi guys, I really need help. I have windows 7 and the FO4 on Steam.

I was reading on Steam forum on the Mod Manager and I find that people talk about Net. Framework 4.6 need to be installed for NMM to be functional?

Then I looked for 4.6 and it is for Windows 10, since windows 7 doesn't support that version.

Ok, I was confused so I came here to check and see if you guys are talking about it. I searched different topics, but eventually came to the point that I need to write a new topic here.

So, can I use NMM on windows 7 with no problem? Net Framework 4.0 is installed, it seems.

Is there anything I have to be aware of if it does work on windows 7?

Please help, so I can start in a right direction. Thank you!!

There are plenty topics answered the same - NET 4.6 works perfectly fine with Windows 7 SP1 and above. Update your Win7 to at least SP1, then get NET 4.6 from MS website and install it. Once done, you can safely install NMM.
