FoolsRequiem
So I installed a good bunch of mods, probably around 100 maybe. A good chunk of them I had installed prior to me actually trying to install the Archive Invalidation mod which lets me install certain mods (like MMM) and the game worked mostly. Game would crash here any there for no reason, especially on Operation Anchorage and when exiting Megaton (it would work fine after a reset), but aside from that, it ran fine and I got about 30 hours of play time in before I started the Archive Invalidation thing. In order for Archive Invalidation to actually work without crashing the game upon start up, I had to uninstall all my mods and install them one by one so I could find the one that was the issue. In the meanwhile, installed a bunch of new mods (mostly visual mods related to NPCs, MMM, Iron Sights, and DC Interiors). Anyways, when ever I loaded up a save or went anywhere in the Wasteland, I would walk a distance and then a bunch of background items would appear and the game would crash. Specifically right outside of Temple of the Union straight south from the main enterence. Most of the time it would crash when a merchant would pop up right in front of me, but sometimes, I'd have to walk further before it crashes. I have the NMC texture pack, F03 Flora Overhaul, and My Grass as the big worldwide graphics mods. I uninstalled all of them and it still crashed when a bunch of items pops up on the screen. I've got the Large Address mod, the unofficial patch, two LOD mods (C93 Rocks and Improved LOD noise texture), and a "better performance" mod that supposedly removes useless items from the game's database. I used Loot and FO3Edit to correct the load order. It doesn't crash when indoors and it's not because of the weather mods because it's never crashed when the weather changed. I dont' know what else I can do besides uninstall all of the mods all over again, then play the game loading a few mods at a time and then playing it to see if it crashes again, and I really don't want to do that again. It took a few hours just to install all of the mods and test startup each time.Any ideas?Side note: When I have the Extended Megaton House mod installed and I'm inside the how, the framerate is pretty bad despite the rest of the game running great (aside from the crash). M48A5
Fallout does run well with dual video cards. You will have to disable one of them when playing the game. LOOT does not sort Fallout 3 mods correctly. What method did you use to make the game LAA? Archive Invalidation is part of most mod managers and using the standalone version intefers with the one in the manager.
FoolsRequiem
Fallout does run well with dual video cards. You will have to disable one of them when playing the game.Actually just realized that SLI is currently disabled, so I'm pretty sure that's not the reason. LOOT does not sort Fallout 3 mods correctly. What should I use instead? Boss supposedly isn't updated for Fallout 3 anymore making it useless when loading newer mods. What method did you use to make the game LAA?What is LAA? Archive Invalidation is part of most mod managers and using the standalone version intefers with the one in the manager.I'm using NMM. However, I'm not having an issue with Archive Invalidation anymore. It doesn't crash at start up anymore. Edit: Crashes with and without SLI being enabled. Frames are better with SLI on (obviously) so I'm going to leave it on now, because that hasn't been the issue. M48A5
There aren't that many new mods that BOSS does not recognize. What mods it does not recognize can be placed in the load order using common sense. LOOT does not order Fallout 3 plugins correctly. I have seen too much load list garbage produced by LOOT than by people not using a mod organizer. LAA is Large Address Aware Enabler. Using the Archive Invalidation in NMM and the standalone version of ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! does not work. They will cancel each other. Uninstall the standalone version. Did you make the Fallout3.ini edit to limit your CPU to use only 2 cores?
Deleted1205226User
and a "better performance" mod that supposedly removes useless items from the game's database Most probably the culprit. If a "better performance" is deleting one reference needed by another mod, game will crash when reference is called. There are a couple of mod of this type correctly done, while the others will make your game more unstable than anything else. Which one is it? LAA is Large Address Aware Enabler. This one: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/6510/? Using the Archive Invalidation in NMM and the standalone version of ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! does not work. They will cancel each other. Uninstall the standalone version.Done. Still crashes. Made the change, still crashes. and a "better performance" mod that supposedly removes useless items from the game's database Most probably the culprit. Doesn't matter, though. Uninstalled it, game still crashes.Edit; This website's quote system is broke all to hell... Deleted1205226User
It seems that's one of those which delete references instead of disabling them, so I wouldn't recommend it. That said I've seen people ending up with corrupted games because of such mod, game uninstallation/reinstallation whith complete HD and system cleaning was apparently needed, simple mod uninstallation was not enough. I just hope it's not the case for you.

Is there a way to post all the mods I have without typing them all individually?
FoolsRequiem
So, I disabled all of the mods and it's not crashing anymore so I'm enabling one or two at a time to see which one it is.I noticed that there is still a lot of object pop up in the vanilla game too, is that normal? Edit: Well, I believe I found the issue. I guess the 6_2 update for Marts Mutant Mod required version RC61 to be installed as well. Lesson learned.
