Weirdest dream ever

So I just had this weird ass dream. Where I was some random guy who fell into this cave tunnel thing that lead to this sprawling underground place, was chased by these psuedo military types and saved by this other group of random weird guys. Long story short. It sounds like a killer mod to me. So heres what Ive got so far from the dream;

 

A giant underground vault network (similar in size from the distance of mojave outpost to New Vegas) That consists primarily of a central chamber that was used to grow food in a 3-4 story tall room with simulated night and day lighting. After many years of course the neat orderly rows of food stuff have grown wild, breaking up a lot of the plated flooring, basicly making it a underground wilderness. With these there are periodic other facilities connected, with everything from hydro, and lighting management, maintenance, security, living quarters and all that, to a few experimental facilities, as it was designed not only as a safe house for underground food production in the event of a nuclear war, but also capable of supporting scientific and technological developments alongside this.

 

On the one end you have the "security" faction. Which was original the military personal stationed at the main entrance, tasked with guarding the facility, and called into high alert status as the bombing started acrossed the country. In order to reduce the security risk they were provided with underground housing for themselves and their families. Basic vault like stuff, with all the amenities. This group follows the directions provided on the computer system in the Colonels office as they have for generations since it was sealed up at the onset of the apocolypse. Basicly they guard the facility, patrol the basic tunnel systems that surround the main chamber, but do not enter the other branchs of the facility, nor delve into the main botanical room due to protocals set forth by the creators. As in they were ordered to guard, and await further orders, but warned not to enter areas outside those orders until told otherwise due to severe health risks.

 

Then theres a faction of basicly random folk who have either fallen into breachs that have developed into the facility, or been outcast from the security faction for crimes, basicly meant to be executed but managed to escape somehow. This is the group that in my dream saved me. They live sprawled out in several settlements inside and adjacent to the main botanical room. Each one in the mod would have course be their own faction to allow for further storyline and RP. Some with their own objectives such as escape, or dominance.

 

Then of course there would be the raiders. Who found one of the other entrances to a secondary facility and have been roaming into the vault seeking plunder. Not much storyline needed in general but would be fleshed out, THinking of having the main raider settlement at the entrance they use, and then various gangs that branch out from there for more RP options.

 

And of course, there would be various things, such as mole rats, death claws, scorpions, cazadors, security bots, and probably a computerized bot faction or two for some of the side facilities.

 

Now I would like to do it similar to Wastelander Edition for FO3, where you start in a shack with a terminal and can pick from a selection of 4-5 backgrounds, allowing you to be a part of any given faction, and have quests for each faction, that of course you cant do if you are on a opposing faction.

 

Ideas for Facilities would include, the main doorway/settlement the security faction is at, food reprocessing, automated protectron gatherer facility(they harvest the food stuff.) Munitions press and weapons forge. Maintenance/hydroponics control terminals that may be usable near each settlement in the main botanical room that could be used to basicly aid, or murder them all in one way or another. Computer server controls, Bot production and maintenace facilities. Various other caved in or destroyed gate systems to the surface. A few one way down entrances from above where cave inns allowed people to fall in, but theres no way to climb out from them. Nests for ants, mole rats, cazadors, scorpions, deathclaws, geckos, and hopefully some other monsters I could get from mods like Marts Mutant mod. Thinking of adding a FEV unit, and

a Ghoul community near the main control terminal. That may consist of the heads of the facility, science team, and supervisors.

 

 

Also thinking of a alternate faction/sub faction being those born to the maintenance crew at the main gate, serving as a worker class, being looked down on by the security faction aka the warrior class. in a psuedo fuedal era system.
