FKRumors
I've been having an issue with my game and I've found no solutions on how to fix it, so I've decided I to re-install my fallout. I've never really did this before so I don't know what if any the best way to keep the mods I've downloaded.
paroxysm
Well, mate, chances are the problems you're having *are* with your mods. Make a list of the essentials (look at the list in FOMM) and just redownload after the reinstall.
marioq70
Change in FOMM the path of your fomod files (fomm mods packs) to other location out of the fallout installation directory, then copy all your fomod's, to the new locations, after this, unistall fallout, and all what you want, reinstall, open again FOMM, then from the pack manager, reinstall all your mods. (backup your saves too, of course)
Bitdman
I've been having an issue with my game and I've found no solutions on how to fix it, so I've decided I to re-install my fallout. I've never really did this before so I don't know what if any the best way to keep the mods I've downloaded. Here's what I have started doing FKRumors. I copy my FOmod list to a separate folder, name the folder the date...ie 5-20-11. Then I add to the folder my "STABLE" game save file from the "saves game" folder, and also the created esp file from FO3Edit which I also name "the same date.....ie 5-20-11.This way you have a Load order list of your "StABLE" mods, the save game and esp file to add after reinstall. Be sure to make yourself any "notes" via notepad or wordpad of any texture or meshes replaced as these don't show up in your loadorder 'no esp'. Also I install all utilities by hand. ****Very important*****Always read 'at least on the first install of a mod' The "Readmes" If something goes wrong with the game your best chance of finding out the reason is re-reading the readmes. If all else fails ask the people here on these forums 'They're Great! I hope this helps. If you need more details feel free to email me as I have a tendancy to be rather "long winded when it comes to gaming"
