vforvic
I am not sure if they are called Seams, but as you can see in the picture my Mortar Round has lines showing vertically down the round and some horizontally. My Nephew has made this in Blender for me and I am trying to get it into Fallout. I made the Textures and did the UV Mapping stuff. Is this something that can be cleaned or covered up in Blender or Gimp or is this normal? Thanks for any insight.
alonsomartinez
I think you just need to smooth the model ;D
LHammonds
alonso is correct. When you create a new object, it is in "Solid" mode. Simply clicking the "Smooth" button will fix that. Sometimes you have to recalculate normals outside when you do this so if it freaks out, go into EDIT mode and press CTRL+N LHammonds
vforvic
Thanks guys. I kept trying to use the Modifier Smooth. Once I found the Smooth button you guys described then everything cleaned up nicely. Thanks again.
alonsomartinez
If you are using Blender , you can find the Smooth button in the bottom left when you are in the Buttons Windows (F9) Edited April 22, 2011 by alonsomartinez
