robotaz
Hey everybody! I'm working on a portable home dimension, and I found the a perfect cell to use. It is in the shivering isles exterior, like in wilderness. What I want to do is have a spell that tele-ports you to a copy of the cell, with all the things in it. I already have a working script made, but I cannot figure out how to copy the cell. I can make copies of interiors, but not exteriors. Can someone tell me how to make a copy of the cell? I've already tried the duplicate function, it does nothing. And I also tried ctrl-c and ctrl-v...didn't work either. Also how do I set the sky? I want it to have a Shivering Isles sky, not a Tamriel sky.

That is why you can copy and duplicate them. But Exterior cells are not worlds all their own, they are parts of worlds...kind of like a room in an interior cell. If you could duplicate it there would be nowhere for it to go. You would have to have it in a brand new world, but I do not believe you can copy and paste it over into your new world. If I am wrong, I hope someone corrects me.
ub3rman123
You could try parenting a new worldspace to the SI worldspace. But if you edit the terrain it'll show up on the SI world as well.
robotaz
All right then... =( Well..no sense get all worked up about it. I think I'll just make a portable dimension with old temple floor pieces and relics and stuff floating on water. With bridges connecting them. Can I still make a Shivering Isles Sky though!? I saw a mod with a dimension in a bottle, and it had a sky.
ub3rman123
Yep. Take an interior and set the lighting to Behave As Exterior, then set the climate to the SI one.
