Deleted2433418User
I have a problem,or not a problem really, more a question..I´m in the fortunate position that i´m (finally) upgrading my rig to something, remotely, able to run FO4 as smooth as Beth lets me..That´s not the problem... the problem is I have a load of mods running now and the thought of downloading them, yet again, doesn´t really appeal to meThe fact that i have to wait a hundred years and a lunchbox before the game itself downloads from the wonders of Steam is,in itself, not something that makes me dance naked whilst whistling dixie..so..can i,take the mod files form my data folder and port them to the new rig? without major problems?I ask because my computerskills are on a "Sesame Street" level and i don't know computers better than a monkey knows Proust..;-)so,please help an old man out..can i just smack the files on an USB-stick and load it on the new rig or am i doomed to suffer the download speeds of Hades...? wax2k
Depends on if you installed them manually in the first place. If so, backup everything in the \data folder (excluding vanilla stuff) plus the different ini files and the plugins.txt and port these to the new install. In case you used NMM and want to do so again, it's a bit more complicated. You might want to ask a moderator to move this to the Technical Support section.
