robhartman9
check this out. the technology for power armor is now a reality. The owner of this robotics company must have a good sense of humor to name his company Cyberdyne https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=cyberdyne+japan&view=detailv2&qpvt=cyberdyne+japan&id=772D4EFAB55347B53DC5FA57A1371285C5C44853&selectedIndex=3&ccid=BSYHybff&simid=608042300535409520&thid=OIP.M052607c9b7df36947a5c4b0f0e0af035o0
tomomi1922
A bit of old news, at least for me. Japan already has exo skeleton suits in service for hospital staff. Operators can lift most patients with ease and carry them (like a grown adult carrying a baby). US is also developing some sort of exo skeleton suit so soldiers can run faster and longer without exerting themselves. As it stands today, soldiers carry so many things that any running is done mostly in short burst, and you can forget about jumping (like in game). But I haven't checked on their progress.Exo skeleton is real, and it won't be hard to attach armor on them. Only biggest problem they cannot solve to make modern day Iron Man is the power source. Currently it is still not possible to have an appropriate sized battery that can power the suit for an extensive amount of time (like a few days). Until we can have smart phone battery that can last 2-3 days to a week without charge, then this power armor will be possible. Currently smart phone will die in a few hours with heavy use. FO4 has fusion core, it's like the skimped down version of Iron Man's power.
robhartman9
that's awesome it's still be no good for recon or the battlefield but could be applied to defensive positions where a steady supply of batteries could be maintained. I am a master electrician and I like to mess around with remote controlled helicopters. I do a lot of work with programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, motors, and all that fun stuff. As the technology becomes more available it might be possible for me to walk into comic con in full power armor one of these days.
lilkandeekid
Did everyone forget about this lol Granted even they state at the end it needs some upgrades to be combat ready, its not much and I would almost rather be in this beast then some power armor.
