FermitTheKrog
I been having this issue with my fallout 4 game for a while I would be playing normally and all of a sudden my game would freeze the screen would go black and my monitor would say "no signal" indicating there is no signal being sent from my computer/GPU anymore, the only way to be able to use my computer is to restart it. This is the only game that does it, i tried uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers latest version too, i tried reseating my graphics card by takeing it out and inserting it back in and doing the same for its power connectors. The GPU fans themselves are not dirty and using msi afterburner, the highest the temp went was 70 C For a few day i was able to run the game just fine im borderless windowed mode but it happened again and I dont know what to do. My specs are listed below OS: Windows 10 64HDD: 2TB 7200 RPMCPU: AMD FX 8350 8 core @ 4.1 GHzGPU: Saphire R9 380 4GBMotherboard: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 R5 (rev. 1.0)Power Supply: OCZ 700w 80 Bronze
JuJooGuppy
Huh. My gals brand new PC has had the GFX driver crash (didnt completely freeze, was able to recover) ina similiar fashion... on a R9 380 gpu. This game and Radeon cards don't get along real well tbh.My thought for HER scenario, she is using an older TV as a monitor that has a very odd display resolution / ratio. I really think its the primary issue for her, dont know if perhaps you have something odd that way as well. Just throwing it out there.

JuJooGuppy
Yeah, I run a 290x in my PC, and while it can handle the game fine, it has its moments. I have read around that Radeon just doesnt perform as well on this game. As a little further evidence, the new beta patch adds 2 new gfx functions -- both are Nvidia only. It definitely seems more optimized for Nvidia cards.I would have gotten the gf a Nvidia card myself, actually, but the 380 was easily the best performance wise (overall) that was in our price range during black friday (Got it for well under $200 IIRC). So it was more practical. Aside from her issue the card seems to run it pretty well actually.IF you happen to find more to this issue, please do post it as I would be curious. Thanks and best of luck sir.
Pokota
This is the problem I'm having. I also have an AMD card (7850) but I've been playing with it since launch without this issue. Then, last week, the screen goes dead and I get "no signal" on my monitors. A few more days pass with no problem but now it happens at least once a day. The last few crashes have been precipitated by the sound going crazy with loud static. CTD I can handle but this is bringing down my entire OS (Windows 10) and it's killing the game for me. I have to restart my PC twice as W10 never loads properly coming out of the BIOS post-crash screen. Any suggestions?
Citadel535
FYI I had the same issue - turning off "Rain Occlusion" seemed to fix it for me.
