Problem with baked normal maps.

Hello!

I started learning how to make normal maps by baking them from high poly to low poly using Blender 2.76 and exporting low poly to nif using Blender 2.49b.
Just wanted to see how it will look like in NV.

This is how object with normal map looks in Blender:

It looks ugly even tho both color map and normal map are 2K resolution. Also, specularity doesn't seem to bend smoothly around edges as it does in Blender.

I've updated tangent spaces in Nifskope and done all other "clean up" stuff before loading it in GECK.

Am I missing something or is my method of making normal maps wrong for New Vegas?
