Could somebody please make a version of RTS for Oblivion I love that mod and think it would be great in Oblivion.

I see someone has attempted converting it before, here is the link - Real Time Settler Oblivion

This version is not very good at all and does not do RTS justice...

Here is the "Real" version of RTS - Real Time Settler NV

If somebody does decide to make an Oblivion version please message me :)

Nope. Fallout 3 and New Vegas for that matter have a lot of scripting functions and commands we Oblivion scripters don't have. I haven't studied into RTS's coding yet, but there's definitely some stuff we'd need to make it happen in the first place.

I think it was mostly form lists, I've been told that effectively deleting spawned items is less of an issue (bloat fun) with recent OBSE developments (no idea if that's correct as I wasn't told how)

Fallout has a few vanilla features that seem to provide some easier methods to accomplish it from the start. I'll agree that OBSE is far more advanced than FOSE/NVSE (and might ever be so) though and I'm not too close with it so I don't know its most recent developments :) .

The reason for me saying 'short answer = impossible' is that it's quite some work to do and you're one of the few, if not only that's effectively working on it :)

I see.

Yeah, I am still working alone, but there are people (including yourself, right?) waiting to jump in as soon as I have the basics done (although I call it 'basics' it is quite large number of scripts - 300+ by now.)

Yes, OBSE now has a DeleteReference function that completely solves the old problem of removing spawned items (no excuses for bloating the save game anymore)

The major technical problem I had was dealing with pathgrids, but the OBSE team is very accessible and willing to add functions that may help modders in general, as they did for me adding a few functions to handle pathgrid nodes.

Anyway, SchemingDuck , you will have a Real Time Strategy game blended in the Role Playing Game that is Oblivion.
