argonian guy
From what I've heard Nehrim is a great mod but before trying it out... how do you port the Argonian race into Nehrim? I just want a race that's more unique in looks than regular humans/elves.
micalov
you just have to check it as playable in CS.
DesertMonarch
you just have to check it as playable in CS. That, Or they have deleted the race record in the CS. Then you would need to add them manually. You can just copy the settings from the vanilla oblivion.esm
ub3rman123
Not deleted, it's just not there. Nehrim doesn't use Oblivion.esm. Load two CS instances, and rebuild them from the race window by copying all of the features.
micalov
They havent deleted any of the race records they still exists in the Nehrim.ESM since its core is based on the oblivion ESM, just all but Nord and Imperial are playable+ rens mystic Elf ( aterna). You will want to rebalalnce the stats to match a playable race though or it will be very overpowered.

How do you open it up or edit it so I can check Argonians to be playable. And how do I rebalance the stats if I was able to enable the race into the mod? ub3rman123
Oh, they are still in there? I need to look around the Nehrim.esm more.. Argonian Guy: The CS is the Construction Set, the main editor for Oblivion. In order to use it, download it off the CS Wiki's mainpage (Can't link at the moment, sorry) and install it. From there, move the Nehrim.esm and if there is one, Nehrim.esp into your normal Data folder. Open the CS, go to Data, and make it so both Nehrim.esm and the maybe Nehrim.esp have a check beside them (Check them by clicking them), and not the Oblivion.esm. If it does have a Nehrim.esp (I need to findout, makes it easier..), select it and click the Make Active File button so it says Active File beside it rather than the usual. Assuming that Micalov is right, the argonians should be able to be found by going on the top bar to Character>Races. From there, find Argonian in the list on the left. Click on the name and check the Playable button. Save. Move your Nehrim.esm and Nehrim.esp back into Nehrim's folder. Start up Nehrim. If I'm not completely wrong and forgot something, it should work.
micalov
Easiest way to set up CS for Nehrim is to copy TESconstructionset.exe and ssce5432.dll from your Oblivion folder to Nehrim and create a new sortcut to the new EXE in your Nehrim instalation. Load Nehrim ESM and proberly best to load Nehrim english.ESP so you can semi understand things better but dont load it as active and DONT load nehrim data esp. Then follow what uberman says but I would rebalance the argonian races otherwise they will be very overpowered, since nehrim playabele races atributes have been changed a lot. Or as the say on Blue petere, heres one we made earlier http://www.mediafire.com/?6fqhfs8d8vdt2rv giving them half aterna stats.
