Having issues with the "Great Cleave" perk in Perma.

Anybody have this issue with Great cleave in the Heavy Weaponry tree? The perk itself involves being able to hit multiple enemies with normal attacks from heavy weapons only problem is that this perk is also affecting one handed weapons as well...

 

 

Both my 2handed and 1 handed weapons are using this perk and that makes things so frustrating when fighting near guards against vampires or doing escort missions. I thought I would at least have the option to use one handed weapons in case the perk became difficult to deal with around friendly npcs but if those weapons are getting affected too then I don't know what to do.

I love the perk and want to use it just wish it didn't affect every type of weapon and something tells me it isn't supposed to either.

I'm having the same "issue", allthough I'm not really complaining, I'm hoping to be able to use this for a build. I'm gonna go look if other perks apply across weapon classes when they're not supposed to. A bigger problem with the Great Cleave perk for me is that it can hit allies and neutrals in the first palce, that's really stupid, in fact it hits MY OWN HORSE during mounted combat.
