Introduction & A Question

DrengrHundr

Recommended Posts

First let me introduce myself. I am DrengrHundr; a Nordic adaptation of my longtime handle, YardDawg!

I have been with the forums for some time now, but have not done much posting, mainly reading. I look forward to getting to know as many of you as possible in due time.

Now, my question, where at in the forums, or my profile am I able to upload media or screenshots from my games? I have found where to manage them, but no up-loader. I am trying to send a pic to a member for some help, in a message, not in the forums here.

If someone could pleas tell me where this is located, I would be grateful.

Welcome DrengrHundr !

First I don't know if it'll help but some share their images on the nexus mod site depending on the game they play/want to share. I share in Skyrim, DAO and DAI myself, it's quite cool  http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/? put your cursor on image and click on "add an image", it will add it to the gallery folder, and yeah it's public.

Secondly you can share an image in a pm, like you can share a video or at least a youtube video  for the image if I'm right you need to upload the image on a site just like Pixelhate said, I use hosting pic for exemple and then use the very last link, you just need to put it "image" and it will appear just like you've done it in your first message. The editor is the same as in the forum

Anyway I hope I'm not to late to help and I know mostly said the same thing as Pixelhate but I hope it'll help

Welcome to the Nexus, or at least to the social side of it!

For image hosting I can personally recommend imgur.com - it's what I use to host any pics that I post to a forum. What I like about Imgur is that it's relatively ad-free, and doesn't require a lot of scripts / applications to be run in browser just to view a photo (like photobucket, or tinypic). You don't need an account either - you can just upload 'anonymously'. After uploading your image, just right-click on it and Copy Image Location - this is the address you can use to embed (or just link) directly into a forum post or private message.

Good luck getting that help, and enjoy your stay.
