Mods Not Working at all

after a drive failure had to reinstall fallout 4

 

i just did what was in Gopher's youtube vid

 

but now not even the proto vault suit mod works

that was the first mod i added before and it worked no problem

 

these are the steps i did before

 

1 edited fallout4.ini file

2 edited fallout4prefs.ini file

3 ran the game with mods

later

4 edited the fallout4custom.ini

5 edited the fallout4.ini file (deleting the archive i had previously edited)

6 ran game with mods (apart from when needed sorting)

 

so this time

1 ran game

2 re-entered my mods

3 edited fallout4custom.ini file

4 edited fallout4prefs.ini file

5 ran game no mods working

 

as i wrote before the protosuit mod doesnt work even though it did before

also when i open the workshop i CTD

How do you launch Fallout? From NMM, Steam or the Fallout Launcher itself?

 

Did you install the Fallout beta patches?

 

Phew... your load order shows a lot of issues. That will take some time.

Half an hour... might be a new record... make sure to follow thoroughly or not at all. Everything inbetween is not worth it.

Workshop_Planters.esp=1 <-- unmaintained and made with XSnip. High risk for savegame corruption. You already have Homemakers planters and NX Pro Farmings planters. Strongly recommended to get rid of.

eFFoodPlanters - Basic.esp=1 &eFFoodPlanters - Extra Plants - High.esp=1 <-- let's call it semi-maintained. Adds custom categories/alters vanilla ones thus will conflict with SK and others. You already have Homemakers planters and NX Pro Farmings planters. I'd recommend to remove it to avoid conflicts and duplicates.

Safe SSEx.esp=1 & Settlement Keywords SSEX Patch.esp=1 <-- unmaintained, known CTD issues, adds massively to the category keyword count thus contradicting the use of SK in the first place, 95+% duplicates with Homemaker. I'd strongly recommend to get rid of it to avoid these issues. If you choose to keep it anyways, put these two files in that order somewhere above Homemaker - SK Integration Patch.esp

Homemaker - SSEx Compatibility Patch.esp=1 <- was made for the non-SK version of Homemaker. Remove it in any case.

Snappable Covenant Walls.esp=1 <-- redundant with Homemaker, it's already included there. Remove it.

 

NX Pro - Farm Core - Homemaker.esp=1 <- was made for the non-SK version of Homemaker. Remove it.

 

Snap'n Build's latest version includes all of these, so remove them before updating:
Snap'n Build - Immersive Modular Doorways.esp=1
Snap'n Build - Metal windows.esp=1
Snap'n Build - Roofs.esp=1
SnB - Windows.esp=1
Snap'n Build - SK patch.esp=1

 

EferasBetterBeds.esp=1 <- not sure about this one. Might add a custom category or alter a vanilla one. Please keep it disabled until everything else works and try it then.

 

And do you really need 4 scrapping mods? Consider Spring Cleaning as my recommendation to keep.

- Settlement Keywords 0.8
- Homemaker 1.33 (choosing Full Incorporation + Greenhouse and Bunker Disabler to avoid duplicates with SnB + Institute Unlocker if you want)
- Snap'n Build 1.5b (choosing SK version)
- OCDecorator (chosing frameworked version and don't allow it to overwrite SettlementKeywords.esm)
- Alternate Settlements 1.1+1.2 (some older versions would conflict with SK)
- Expanded Settlement Buildings 1.5 (uncategorized version, the categorized version will conflict with SK)

game running with the above mods

 

i made sure the file you suggested were installed

 

i also did a complete clean install unibnstalled and removed all the mod files

then reinstalled nmm and added the mods back one at a time

 

the scrap mods allow me to scrap different things like dead bodies and animals and in the caes of sanctuary

some of tjhe buildings

SSex isn't abandoned, and the issues with it are from the latest patches. Ran alone, minus one minor, interior door, and you will be fine. ran with Homemaker, OCdecorator, and others, you game can crash. I do believe that once the mod author of SSex gets some free time, he will be putting work, again, into the mod. But, for now, best to leave it on the nexus if you are using all the rest.
