High resolution textures gone, what the hell?

I noticed my QTP 3 textures weren't looking as good lately, I remember them looking very high res. I see the "pattern" of the new QTP textures, but they look very blurry! I started looking around and I get the same problem with the improved signs by the well known miknmel1. Has anyone ever heard of a similar problem?? By the way I reinstalled the texture packs and nothing changed. My in-game textures are set to high also. Please help me! :( I'll post screenshots in a few minutes.

Here we go. I know this used to look a crapton better. I used to look at the ground and think "wow, this looks almost as good as crysis". I'm pretty sure these aren't the oblivion default textures, but my QTP 3 textures were a LOT more crisp looking. I use QTP 3 redimized using "no reduction". Anyone know why this happen?

Ok I exited and entered the game a few times, it seems like QTP textures getting loaded in the game are random!! As an example, my ground textures still look awful (I think it's the default one, not the low-res QTP version as I previously thought), but the rock where that pic was taken now has the high-res QTP version.

Yes I did. Actually I think the mods stopped working once I deleted my oblivion.ini (I wanted to reset it to default values). I ran the archive invalidation and somehow some of the textures have appeared, but the others are still gone (obvious missing stuff such as QTP3's grass). Am I supposed to have to reinstall everything after running the archive invalidation?? Also, is it normal that the archive invalidation got cancelled if I reset my .ini?

BSA redirection adds dummy .bsa file in \data, then add its filename into Oblivion.ini. So if you delete Oblivion.ini, you have to add the filename to generated Oblivion.ini manually(or do BSA redirection via OBMM or Wrye Bash again). Edited by LFact
