neiljwd
1500 hours, multiple playthroughs, but I always get bogged down and sidetracked by the big quest lines to "get them out the way" and stop the nagging, but I'm always burnt out by the end and never explore like I wanted to or try Mod Quests. Can console commands do it, or any mods that address it? Quests I'd like completed from the off:Main Quest - think a none Dragon Born Mod would do this?Civil War - Have it completely over, in favour of either side.DawnGuard - Completed but still get the Dragon shout?Dragonborn - I'd like the main QL completed. saurusmaximus
There may be a way, but I've never found it. The problem with completing those with the console is there are a number of side variables (don't know the correct term) that need to be set along the way, so if you just use the setstage command, it won't work. What I've ended up doing is making a save with all the crap done I don't want to do over again (DG in my case) and using that as a starting point every time I want to start a new game. The only drawback with that is: anytime I make a major change in my load order that requires a new game, I have to do it all over again.
Shivala
Wouldn't alternate lives be the best mod in a case such as this? You can skip a whole lot. Or guve yourself godly weapons and instakill everything and clear a random dungeon under 5 minutes.
simtam
Nay, alternate start pretty much skips only the tutorial dungeon. The main quest is easiest to skip, either with savefile (there's one been posted on nexus last month) or console commands (devs frequently used stage 1 for just that, for debugging purposes). But why would you like to skip it, if completing it really does not affect the world that much?
neiljwd
I roleplay a bit,and I cant justify pissing off to explore that pretty meadow, when a DRAGON is eating the world, or hndreds are dying in a war I, as Dragonborn, could stop.SHivala may have a point, I could just TGM and TCL ther dungeons. skyquest32
My problem with the game is that I get praise for killing a few hags but not saving the world or being a bloody war hero, the stupid guards blabber everlasting about all else but wont acknowledge this.
