Searean
Just wanted to say that the beta server works fine for me. I try to avoid tessource as a download since I usually get caught in a "log in" loop of some sort but recently that has not happened so maybe it is due to this beta server. It is nice to be able to log in and download a file without having to try logging in 3 to 4 times first. I am not sure if it is any faster then the old server though, but it seems fast. It is a very nice service you provide to the community so I wanted to take a moment to respond about the server for you. Maria

SKS
I think it worked relatively well for me; got between 70 and 78 Kbps.
mumshquat
i don't know if i need to try downloading more things to get a better idea or not, but my experience thus far has been that it is far slower. i'm getting 35-45ish K but old server is giving me 100+K. Kaedran
While this server is closer to where i live i found it a little slow. Otherwise it's fine.

druid1
I'm just now in the process of rolling out a new beta file server. As most of you know the large file server at TESSource is totally saturated up to its limit, causing slow download speeds and disconnects. This new server is a bit of a cheap-o solution which offers quite variable speeds. As such I am trialling it as a beta file server simultaneously with the current file server. There is now an extra screen you have to go through in order to download large files. This screen asks you to pick which server you would like to download from. If you (somehow) find the new beta file server slower than the current file server, then simply pick the original file server (#2) on the server choice pop-up and you'll download as you always have from the original file server. If you use the new beta file server (#1) please help me out by providing feedback in this thread; are you getting faster rates from the new file server? If you kept getting corrupt files or disconnects on the original file server do you still get them on the new file server? Any and all feedback appreciated. Thanks!can't download the file! After I have dowloaded it ,only to find its size to be 0.
Povuholo
can't download the file! After I have dowloaded it ,only to find its size to be 0.Then that download is probably broken. Try others and see if those work. When you find a broken download you can post a link in this forum and it'll be taken care of. :)
aries101
I'm from Denmark (in Europe) and I'm downloading from server #1 (Chicago, USA). I have a download frame rate of 30-35 kb/sec. which is OK, but not as good as the server in Dallas, TX, USA.I've read somewhere that you've set up a server in London for the EU which I think is a good idea. However, I can't access the London server. Or has the London server been disabled??
