Bitdman
No, in no way will anything "( but alteration or improper loading of the file)" will effect it's function. Ini tweaks effect game function and engine function also but it wont have any baring on my code. The only thing found that changes this fact is incorrect use of other tools , like fomm or fo3 edit mastering. I have seen attempt's to change or tamper with my code result in crashes, they admitted useing various tools so nothing was hidden. I know and realize there are those that will try. This is understood. I have given all information in regards of use of this code so there can be no mistakes. The credits shows the good folks whom have done the testing. And really hammered it good to try and trip it up. No good. it rocks, and it does what I said it does. Heh! Both ways too! installed and done correctly it is flawless in function. Installed and messed with it will crash you game. So there you have it.http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/biggrin.gif Sweet! Good work! VaultBoy1O6
How can we identify the reason for a crash without trying to notify Bethesda. Who really doesn't care anyway! And without "checking for a solution online" which doesn't work either!? There is no doubt my comp.can handle the game so I would like to try and find out what is going wrong so I can know what to do to solve the problem. But I'm not sure how to determine the reason for the app. shutting down. :wallbash: It does not CTD it just stops and shows the "windows can check online for a solution" window. Ya as if! I wish it could be that simple  Hey man, I have the same problem, only I have no mods, and am pretty sure that I have the latest patch. This happens for me at random intervals of time, usally the tell tale signs are frame rate jobs lower than usaual and my fan going faster. The game seems not to care what I am doing, I could be fighting, wondering or standing in a bar. (Though it has never done it in dialouge, if that means anything) It just happens. Hope this helps with tracking down the problem, because I would be very happy if it is identified.

Bitdman
ccmechanic2I was experiencing constant crashing in the Fairfax ruins area. Then I installed your esp file and moved it "in FOMM" to the bottom of the load order...(I'm not sure what is meant in the readme "Do not modify this file in fose.FO3editor", though.so I installed it in the game manually after "running FO3Editor" and dragged and dropped the esp check box to the bottom of the load order.I spent about 20 minutes running and jumping and firing my weapon and turning in circles. This would usually cause the game to crash but didn't. Either this is a coincidence or you have solved a major instability problem  Now I will begin to bump up my graphics card settings and post the results Also. I'm not sure if your mod alters buildings and terrain but as I walked south through Fairfax with a bus stop to the right and the last building to the left toward a pile of radiated barrels, there is a separation between the building and the sidewalk. I don't remember this being there previously.

I don't remember this being there previously. Well, I suppose I could reply to that as well. "Do not modify this file in fose.FO3editor though" means that if you run Fo3edit's feature called "Masterupdatemode" You should disable ccmechanic's mod first, then run masterupdate. And since Fo3edit eh, well "edits" .esp's, it highly recommended not to edit ccmechanic's .esp. (otherwise your game will become highly unstable) As for the question whether it's a coincidence or not: It isn't. He really did solve a major instability problem which goes a lot farther then some invisible walls. Also, as far as I know, his mod does not alter any buildings or terrain. Or, at least not in the Fairfax area. (correct me if I'm wrong about this, ccmechanic)
Bitdman
I got a FO3 has stopped working error after sleeping 7 hrs on the mattress on the scavengers platform just south of Fairfax.Prior to that my pipboy also had a problem with the world map screen it was blank except for the locations and the dots the rest was black. the local map and stats screen were OK. Does this make any sense to you guys? I should also add that I am using a gamepad and Pinnacle Game Profiler. As far as the GPU settings go, all I did was uncheck the boxes that allow the application settings the AA is X2,AF X4.my graphics card is a Radeon HD 5870 (not in crossfire). The CPU is a AMD 970 Black edition Quad core (all 4 cores unlocked and working) Is it possible for the graphics settings to be to low?

If as you said, fo3editor has altered my file, then this current apparition may occur, Both this question and the one that follows this applies true... Weird things that you said happened may indeed be do to something that has changed my code. If not, hard ware controllers require certain software. I am not familiar with those controllers or it's software.
