Deleted2039153User
So I started working on an interior cell in GECK. Got the basic layout and everything, but I've run into some problems. 1. I added Room Markers and Portals like the official GECK tutorial said, saved my work last night and turned it off. But today when I came back to work on it, the meshes in the rooms that have Room Markers on them are now invisible, along with everything in them. My Teleport Markers, everything. And they're still there, they can be selected and I can rotate around them, but even with "Portals and Rooms" turned on in View I can't see them. 2. Before I ran into the Room Marker issue, I was unable to get Doors working. I set the Door up as it said in the GECK tutorial, both sides (my new area and the wasteland) have proper Teleport Markers, but when I go to the door in game it won't let me interact with it. It's just a unusable static mesh sitting there. If anyone could give me a hand with these, I would be very grateful.
chucksteel
to answer your first issue read this thread, how to fix lighting, havok and render issues . there is a glitch with the roommarkers and portals, if you disable them in the .ini your issue will be solved. on the subject of doors not working, are the doors somehow behind a collision plain? to check for this hit the F4 key, this will show all collisions. If you've placed the door behind the red (shown by hitting F4) you will not be able to activate the door. You'll have to move it out a bit or, try the NVinvisible door, if moving your original door looks funky. hope this helps chuck

Still can't get the door to work, but I'll try the NVinvisibledoor and see if that works. Thanks so much for your assistance. EDIT: NVinvisibledoor did the trick. Again, thanks a lot.
