I knew early on this game reminded me of the movie. I was looking through my pile of old dvd's and there it was. I just finished watching it again. No wonder this game reminded me of it they are practically identical right down to Nick Valentines tie and the scar on his chin. Not only is he dressed like Deckard Nick even kind of looks like Harrison Ford. Nick said his personality was from a pre war cop. Does Nick say this cops name? The early synth eyes like Nicks also seem to mirror a lighting effect used frequently in the movie. Androids are referred to as replicants with the latest generation being Nexus 6. That said, Beth seemed to have continued the long tradition of easter eggs, that existed in FO1 and FO2. Including in people names. E.g., Roger Warwick the synth from Warwick farm looks more than a bit like Prof Kevin Warwick, from the University of Warwick, who studies interfacing cybernetics to human nerves, and actually implanted himself with circuits. Prompting some to call him Captain Cyborg. And to be honest, even that rounded rectangle of water around the side of Warwick farm, kinda reminds me of the pool at Warwick university. robhartman9 Posted February 4, 2016 Author Share Posted February 4, 2016 There are lots of those easter eggs in this game. I had never heard of Captain Cyborg so I missed that one. I did recognize Cliff and Norm slumped over their beers instantly. I found a references to the TV show Firefly, the PAX syringe, and some of the ghouls are called Reavers.
