Plabye
I made a post about my ENB making the game lag, but I didn't realize that my mods weren't working...I know this issue is known and there are tons of threads already existing about the subject, I read them and looked for solutions for my problem: I have installed Archive invalidation Invalidated, I have installed the unofficial fallout 3 patch, I have enabled the large adress aware, nevertheless my mods don't work :/Is there anything I have missed ? Plabye
Double post sorry, but nobody was answering.is FOSE necessary to make mods work ? The mods I want don't need it.I completely uninstalled the game, made a backup of my saves, etc... I wanted to clean it perfectly before making an other attempt. So I took the unofficial patch, and took the F0MM. I will activate the archivate unvalidation unvalidated soon. I also disabled GFWL using the disablerI hope this time the mods will work.PS=is it necessary to activate the archive unvalidation unvalidated after installinf NMM ? M48A5
Both FOMM and NMM have a version of Archive Invalidation as part of the manager. It is found under "Tools" in both. You cannot use both the FOMM or NMM version of ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! and the standalone mod. They will cancel each other. You do not need the GFWL disabler if you are using either of the mod managers. That option is also built into the managers. After you installed the mods, did you activate them in your mod manager? If your game is located in "Program Files" it will be protected by Windows User Access Control. You will not be able to make changes to a lot of the files and you will not be able to use the Large Address Aware Enabler or FOSE. Plabye
I installed archive invalidation invalidated and then I didn't touch anything in NMM and FOMM, so it should be ok Anyway, it's all fixed now x3I installed FOSE with the help of a detailed youtube serie about fallout 3 modding and now my mods work perfectly.I have HD textures, flora overhaul, a distance view modifier and the Chromatic Melancholy ENB working well at flawless 60fps :
