schijnn
I was trying to use the console to teleport into Sideways Cave, so I typed 'coc sidewayscave'. The place I arrived at wasn't the Sideways Cave I remembered, and when I looked at the world map, I found I was east of Skingrad, and south of the Imperial City, a far cry from the northeastern corner of Imperial Isle, where I expected to arrive. I cleared out the cave, and found two doors: one to a lower level, and one simply labeled 'door', which did nothing when I tried to activate it. So, I looked up the Sideways Cave page on UESP, and discovered that the console location code is 'SidewaysCaveNEW', but no mention was made of the 'other' Sideways Cave. Anyone know if it's part of a mod (and if so, which one, and how to get in from the outside), or if it's a remnant left by Bethesda?
MidbossVyers
Probably one of many Bethesda remnants.

MisterSnipey
It's always interesting to see what's been left alone as the rest of the game changed during development, like the 'Darkness' magic effect, (Link) I dunno if there's a list of all the ones found so far though. ub3rman123
Oblivion's Interior Test Cells A lot of these actually do have purpose. For example, the dummy cell you warp to if you try 'CoC Bruma' is made so that AI will know that their AI applies to all cells that start with Bruma.
