TheLastIstari
So, I replayed Shadow of the Colossus a while ago, and once again, fell in love with the game. Seriously, if you don't have it, get it, I command you! ... You won't regret it! ... I can assure you! Oh look, a link to the first fight. Well, moving on, my request is for the clothes (and sword) of the player character of the game, known only as Wander... from the credits. He's never named ingame, I'm afraid. His role is rather simple, he makes a deal with a devil of sorts named Dormin to have the love of his life brought back from the grave in return for killing sixteen giant monsters. Really giant. Absolutely massive. He does it with nothing but his trusty steed, a regular bow, and a sword that points the way to each colossus. Did I mention he has absolutely no clue how to use the sword and it shows? Anyway, genuinely adoring this game, I'd like to try my hand at a request for his outfit... and the sword. So I am going to put up reference pics now, and hopefully someone will take it up. D: I am patient you know! And as you might also notice, a lot of the reference pictures link to Deviantart. This is because Shadow of the Colossus is a game that really went under the radar. As such, there is next to no good pics for reference. General outline of his outfit http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m146/thehappygoldfish/Shadow%20of%20the%20Colossus/1204160210708.jpg Another reference shot. Something of a back shot. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f178/Twitching_Gerbil/Shadow%20of%20the%20Colossus/45a91977.jpg The first of many dA links. This one provides a side view and the correct size and color scheme for the sword. Another dA picture, this time with a good shot of the sheath. Yet another dA picture, great view of the front colored. Last picture, another good view of the front. So, I am hoping that someone will take this up, as I feel the outfit could be somewhat useful for a shaman character or such. Feel free to post here, offering help on what Vanilla meshes might be usable as a base to help with this. Thanks for reading this~!
Natterforme
Little late, but I happened to find this post while looking for something else. I just made the Lord Emon outfit, and Wander's outfit will follow^^. I hope I just gave you some good news today  .
TheLastIstari
Really? Well, I have to say this is a very lovely surprise! I really look forward to seeing both Wander and Emon and am really curious. How will you be handling Wander?
Natterforme
I was actually working on Wander's outfit long before I started Emons. I had created a very rough model, when I really didnt know much about blender (like how to smooth things out). I didnt know much about bone weights at the time too, so the model never stretched correctly. I then created Lord Emons outfit too, also very rough in its appearance. I then had a full computer failure and while I didnt lose other important information, I had not yet backed up my Blender Files  . I had nine projects at the time and lost them all. I am slowly remaking them and have since released two, one this week. It was at this time that I began to look for better reference material for both outfits, since I wanted to get them right this time. I got in contact with a person on youtube who had access to the game data through the use of a PS2 emulator. I asked if he would send me pictures of the content and he did  . I now have several detailed, full body pictures of both outfits, which is how I made Emon's outfit( this will have to be changed before uploading so I dont infringe on the legal/copyright stuff. :ermm: I will have to use these images as reference only so I cant just copy over the exact look, which will take longer than expected. As to the proportions and such, I an thinking of HGEC Body, A cup, small waist. Wander was a pretty scrawny guy to begin with, and using Roberts Male Body V5 would just make him jacked, IMO. This way he will look the part and the Body will for the male body to make him scrawny too. If you would like to see a pic of my alpha test model for Wanders outfit, it can be found here: http://natterforme666.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d3hxwgk If you would like to see a beta test of Lord Emon's oufit, it can be see here: http://www.tesnexus.com/imageshare/image.php?id=101415
TheLastIstari
I like what I'm seeing, and it's a good idea not to use any buff bodies for Wander as yeah, scrawny guy. As for Emon, all I could really advise is to sharpen the textures of the robe a little (though that might just be a result of the stretching you mentioned) and bring the robe down more to his ankles (as I think it was a full robe). Though you said it is a beta, and not the finished product, so I may just be saying stuff you're already aware of. xD Good to see you're still going after a hard drive crash though. And I really am glad someone's taking this up.
Natterforme
Thank you for your encouragement. I actually picked up SOTC at a garage sale for $4, thinking it was some sort of RPG. Its now one of my favorite games of all time and I am really looking forward to both the collection package and the release of The Last Guardian. :woot: :geek:

Oblivion will not run. It ran fine. The only problem was that my model was ugly because I didnt know how to model very well. The textures were, at the time, simple test colors but the parts I did put into the game( the whole thing) ran with no problems on my basic laptop.
