Deleted4363562User
So when I am working on a texture in Photoshop and want to save progress before I have completed everything, how should I save the file? Saving as a dds file gets rid of all the layers.
wubilyu
I think it's a .psd file. That should save all of your layers, well worth it for future editing etc.

humanindustry
I always use a regular psd-file that never gets deleted, then I use save as copy whenever I want to export something as a dds-image. Which is pretty handy since when i do multiple retextures of the same image they're usually in the same psd-file with different layers, somw which are hidden depending on which retex that's getting exported.
