Player camera too far foward

Hi, I just installed a bunch of mods onto my game but my camera seems to be too far foward. I installed them all in one go so i'm unsure which is causing it, does anyone know what may be the problem?

Finding out that the rabbit method of installing mods isn't so fast after all eh? Turtles will win everytime unless you know exactly what you are doing (i.e. one or a few mods at a time and then test). Troubleshooting problems that arise is a trivial matter when you only have one or a few mods to troubleshoot.

 

In your case you lucked out ... read the documentation that came with Oblivion Reloaded and adjust your camera accordingly.

 

You also may want to run your load order through BOSS (the preferred load order sorter for Oblivion). It'll clean up all your delinquent master problems (yes that load order is a mess).

Thanks I was following a modding guide and just downloaded a lot of it without taking a decent look at each one, I didnt realise Oblivion Reloaded changed anything other than the graphics. I'l have a mess about with the camera and see if i can get it positioned perfectly. I dont think it's that far off since in my first post i thought i should have been able to see my sword, but i didnt realise Oblivion Reloaded changed it to 3rd person animations. Next time i will definetly do it step by step.

 

I've been running my load order through BOSS, but it doesnt seem to change it at all on Wrye Bash and the same thing happens when i use LOOT. Do you know what might be causing that?

It should be documented somewhere how to disable it (could be I saw something mentioned in the OR mod comments not too long ago).

 

Are you running BOSS using the button in the lower left of the Wrye Bash window? If not and you run it from say a desktop shortcut but have lock load order set in WB then it'll just revert the load order when you start it (you should see a notice that it has done so in that case though).

 

- Edit - Have a look here (though you should still see if there's a way to keep the external camera and just disable the lock on option).

Thanks again. I've turned the auto target off now as well as the third person combat animations. Maybe i will turn it back on later, but it's causing too many issues right now and i'm not sure i even like it that much.

I was running BOSS seperatly because the icon doesnt appear in the bottom left of Wrye Bash for some reason. I unchecked that option and it works now though.
