kluchozaur
I've been having the same problem as many ppl in the previous posts: mods that add custom textures/sounds etc. don't work. While for others the issue resolved magically, it did not for me. Here's what I noticed: after reinstalling the game 2 times (2nd one with registry cleaning), trying all the stuff from other posts, i finally bothered to check the game texture folder (stupid, i know). What i discovered, is that when i install mods with NMM, it only copies the .esp/esm file, and NOTHING else (except creating new folders). I have only one instance of NMM, running as admin, NMM and all the associated files (downloaded mods and stuff) are on the same drive as my FO4 game installation, though the game itselve is not in my "main" Steam Library, it's a newly created one on a different drive then the Steam installation itselve. Could that have any impact on it? Right now, the mods work when i copy all the files manually, but it's a pain in the ass, as you can imagine. I'm using Win10. wax2k
Sounds suspicious in terms of legit or non-legit copy to me. But to answer your question: Could that have any impact on it?Yes. Edited February 8, 2016 by wax2k
kluchozaur
I own a copy of Fallout 4 on Steam. Is there a way to fix the issue? I can't reinstall the game on my "main" drive, no room for it, or the mods. Can you somehow trick NMM or Steam into thinking it's there? I thought lauching both NMM and FO4/Steam in admin mod should fix the multi-drive installation issue?
