ElethasLikesFarCry
Okay, so when I use the mod, on the settlement UI I get this issue when I scroll over the crafting (or workbenches tab) it causes the game to crash instantly. I am using other mods but I have isolated the issue to this one as far as I know. I have attached screenshots of the nexus mod manager with the mods I am using. So far everything I have tried has failed. Would really appreciate some help! Edited February 8, 2016 by ElethasLikesFarCry
wax2k
Check if these files are there: \Fallout 4\Data\Meshes\AWKCR AnS_Armorsmith_Workbench.nif Weaponsmith_Workbench.nif \Fallout 4\Data\Meshes\Crafting Workbenches CW_WorkbenchAmmunition.nif CW_WorkbenchJunk.nif If not, copy them over manually. If yes, make sure, you didn't overwrite AWKCR's latest version with the version provided by CW. If that doesn't help, check if you have this file: \Fallout 4\Data\interface Workshop.swf and rename/delete it in that case. wax2k
You should start at the top, not the bottom. And report back on every advice, not only one.
ElethasLikesFarCry
Okay, so I have all the files you mentioned other than Workshop.swf, and I'm fairly sure it hasn't overwritten but I will deactivate and reinstall the mods just to check
wax2k
If that doesn't help either, try moving BetterSettlers.esp and the two Homemaker .esp files above all the CW files. And make sure, you still have this in your Fallout4Custom.ini: [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= Edited February 8, 2016 by wax2k
ElethasLikesFarCry
I looked at the Fallout4Custom.ini, it had reset itself from what I originally set it to. I edited it to fit with your recommendation and it now works fine. Thanks :)
tekel2959
Awesome, .ini edit worked for me as well. This was driving me crazy.
NorthernWookiee
I was having the same issue, as soon as I scrolled over to the far right of the settlement crafting menu it would crash to desktop. I re-edited the Fallout4Custom.ini with the archive line listed above, and it fixed it, no other steps needed so far. Thanks for the help guys. Greenspore
For anyone needing to troubleshoot settlement issues, please refer to this thread. For me, uninstalling workshop planters and Snap'n Build left ghost esps in my files post update 1.4. Please manually verify your un-installations. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3767665-ten-rules-to-get-a-mod-setup-with-a-lot-of-workshop-crafting-mods-to-work/
