vdgamer
I was searching for a camera mod that lets the player rotate the view without sticking to characters back, that way it would be possible to see character all around (360 view) and anything else without actually moving and then reset the view to the characters back with a button ( im talking about 3rd person vies of course), like cameras in assassins creed games, gta4, dragon age 2, tomb raider games, basically a 360 rotational camera that does not turn the character when rotating in either direction, after much searching ive decided to make a request since i dont think such camera mod exist and should be very practical, and thanks ahead to whoever might undertake this project
Myriss
I'm quite sure you're able to do this in-game without mods. Just click and hold the mouse wheel and it'll detach from the player. You can move it around to see your character. Letting go of the mouse-wheel snaps the camera back to its default status.
LFact
Console command: tfc(Toggle Free Camera).
vdgamer
that is absolutely different than what i was talking about, tfc is not a playable camera its just free moving cam, i was talking about 3rd person playing camera that doesnt stay attached to characters back but rather spins around it still keeping character in center of the screen, just like most action games have i listed examples in above post Edited May 7, 2011 by vdgamer
Myriss
After testing it, I'm 100% sure that clicking and holding the middle-mouse button works fine. It rotates around the character, but keeps it in centre-view.

Myriss
Completely. I disabled all my mods/addons/expansions (essentially, only Oblivion.esm was ticked) and ran the game without OBSE. Also, for further confirmation, see "Vanity View" UESP - Oblivion Controls Relevant quote: On PC, you click and hold down on the mouse wheel button; mouse wheel zooms third-person view in and out Edited May 7, 2011 by Myriss
vdgamer
ok see what you mean, but the mod i requested should do that all the time without holding the button, but rather pressing the button to return camera to default position behind the character
xrmaxwell
I posted here as well -- I find it hard to believe this hasn't been resolved...
Teoped01
I guess you mean something along the lines of the skyrim camera?
